The Month of October Recognizes Three Causes PMG is Passionate About

Powerhouse Media Group is dedicated to bringing awareness, help and hope with regards to issues affecting our communities, including breast cancer, bullying and domestic violence. October 1 - October 31 is dedicated to nationally recognizing these issues. Please join us in supporting them by getting educated, attending an event, offering words of encouragement (and even a hug) and finding solutions. Together, we can do it and make a riffle effect of change for the better.

We Stepped Into Our Goals in Stilettos!

On Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 3-5 pm at the Indian River Public Library, we showed up with our goals in mind and stilettos on our feet. The purpose? To create our vision boards. Watch the video to see just how Powerhouse Media Group assisted the women of Hampton Roads VA to write the vision and make it plain https://youtu.be/RK9RngYjfFQ.

If you'd like to bring "Step Into Your Goals in Stilettos" to your church, women's group, etc., please email us at powerhouse4ever@gmail.com. You will surely create a vision board that will be a blueprint of the ...goals you want to accomplish. No more wishing and hoping in your mind and heart. You will have a visual then take the action steps to manifest your dreams, desires, goals, etc.

Says Celeste Jones, a Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry consultant: "I have seen people post ,"vision board" but never did one for myself. Heard about people doing one but never took the time. Said I would do it but didn't.....not until yesterday. I truly enjoyed it. So thank you Feona Sharhran Huff for putting your vision into action, so we can start to make our vision a reality. When God places a vision in your mind and heart continue to bring it forth."

Empowering Youth & Parents at They Return Back-2-School

What a blessed time I had with the women and young ladies of New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. I was the guest speaker for their back-2-school event. The scriptural text that the event was based on comes from Philippians 4:13, which says: "I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me."

I delivered a word specific to the parents, including making their child's teacher their BFF, checking their child's grades online weekly, volunteering and joining the PTSA, asking their child specific questions to engage their academic experience and, of course, praying with their child.
For the young ladies in the room, I implored them to sit in the front of the class, ask their teachers for help, form a study group, get involved in school, don't be a bystander with regard to a bully, aim high (getting straight A's is possible), be themselves and to pray when they feel overwhelmed.
After the event, I talked to moms and grand moms with specific concerns they had. And, most certainly we smiled for the camera.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Mrs. Thelma Cuffee of the Women's Ministry who asked me to present to the women and young ladies of the church. Also, bless you First Lady. Mrs. Lucy, who traveled just to see me, spoke a serious word of life and blessings over me, and I thank her for that.
I am so full, grateful for the opportunity to sow into the lives of women and live out my calling and passion.
