"Single Mother The New Father Volume 1: Sports" Had a Powerful Launch Book Signing Turnout

This past Saturday, January 22, 2011, I had the esteemed pleasure of hosting the launch book signing for Cathleen E. Williams, Esq.'s Single Mother The New Father: Volume 1 Sports at
Hue-Man Bookstore & Cafe in Harlem USA.

Special guests, including Andrew Morrison of Small Business Camp, Dr. Sidney Hankerson, MD, MBA, psychiatrist from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Malik Carey,  Minister Kim Underwood, and others, showed up mightly and powerfully to support the first book written by my dear friend, strategic partner and champion for single moms. The seats filled up fast and ended up being a standing-room affair.

Cathleen, who also co-hosts the radio show, "Adam Where Art Thou" and is the host of the television program "I'm Just Sayin," was eloquent, poised and engaging as she thoroughly explained the savvy advice and tips single moms (and parents in general) will receive upon reading Single Mother The New Father: Volume 1. The book is really a blueprint from a single mom who's "been there done that" in terms of things to do, not do, and be abreast of as she helps her son navigate through amatueur sports and the journey of life. As the single mom of a male athlete (Sir Isaac), I certainly appreciate the learned lessons that she shares in her book.

Single Mother The New Father: Volume 1 gives real talk on everything from not dating your child's coach to ways in which to seek scholarships for your student athlete to things you need to bring when your son has a game. It's an extremely resourceful editorial tool to read and re-read.

It was an honor to be a part of the start of such an incredible empowerment movement. We exceeded our sales expectations and now, Cathleen's book will officially be carried in Hue-Man Bookstore & Cafe going forward. Congrats Cathleen! To my phenomenal photographer, Rodney of A Touch of Menel, thank you for capturing this celebatory occasion for me. The photos, including the one in this post, are breathtaking and a testament to the excitement and support Cathleen's book is receiving.

Cathleen and I are in the planning stages for her next book signing, so stay tuned here or keep posted by visiting www.facebook.com/editorialgenius.
